What is the difference between "vintage", "retro" and "old"?
All of them can be applied differently. However, the harvest usually refers to something that is old in age but is still valued by the "modern" standards. Old has a similar meaning, but usually involves something that is more fragile, precious and irreplaceable. Retro usually refers to the design or model of something based on something in the past. For example, the current design ford mustang is "retro", because its based on the design concepts of the old mustang. t 'vintage' shirts are valued today, even though they are old. And a person can refer to a unit as "old" if its been handed down from generation to generation because their most fragile and can not really be replaced. I am sure that a dictionary can be of more use, but that's my understanding of it. Hope that helps.
